It wasn't predicted.
It had just all melted.
There isn't very much and it's weirdly pelleted and light and fluffy at the same time.
Shetlands, Midnight, Lini and Bessie are NOT amused.
Neither are the ewes in Jack's group.
Kiss and Villa are VERY amused.
Villa was inspired to really stretch out and run!
This Shepherd is surprised and taken in by the beauty :-)

It's funny how much dogs love the snow!
It WAS predicted, at least for here on the weather we watched last night, but we didn't get any. Must have gone north. Who is Kiss???
Kiss was my dog who "adopted" Franna's son, Bryan, as her #1 human. Because of that, I gave her to him several years ago... She has been living in Albuquerque for the last two or three years with him. Now that Bryan is trying to sell his condo and move back to the PNW, Kiss has been staying with us so he can concentrate on the things he needs to do to get it ready to sell...
Dogs are funny. Kiss doesn't play with dogs much, but can't resist Villa. Villa's one of the few who can beat Kiss in an all out race. They had great fun racing circles in the unoccupied pasture. Bryan got to visit Kiss over Christmas and they obviously miss each other a lot. The housing market tanked in ALB, too, so Kiss is probably flying back for a while... leaving us with Three... maybe.

Try 4 ft. with an ice storm "frosting"! My sheep think someone stole the ground. :)
I wish ever time I went out into this recent snow we had I could be as enthusiastic about it as the dogs!
:)
