OH, OH, OH!
I just HAVE to knit this vest!
How would it look in Gotland Grey???
...is that a New Year's Resolution?

Ha! I just pulled this one up today to look at 'cause I was a tiny bit interested in it! I'll have to go right now to the open page and have a look see.
It would look smashing in Gotland grey! Or katmoget grey . . . or emsket . . . or . . .
Go for it!
Great minds, etc. etc. etc.....I just downloaded the pattern too!!! Maybe it was the lamb that did it ;-) Lois
Yes, very cute, I love the lamb too. :-) This is the first I've seen it. Thanks for posting!
Isn't that lamb just the cutest? If only it was Shetland, it'd be cuter.
I'm planning to combine pieces and knit on a big circular needle. I hate seams and they're unnecessary in this piece. Maybe I'll swatch up some of the light grey Shetland I've been saving for the "right" pattern.
I think that vest would look great in Gotland grey!
Franna here is a link to my friend in New Zealand that made a Gotland vest from Hamish's Gotland fleece.

Do you have a link to that vest? I couldn't seem to locate it on knitting daily or interweave press or ...
Thanks,
Kathy
Jody, those are STUNNING! We should have our first "kiwi" lambs in March sired by Hamish's rams.
Kathy, try the Nashua link at the bottom of the post.
Has anyone started it yet?

You go, Girl! WooHoo! I'll bet soon US Gotlands will beat the LOR Cloak-giving Beauties from Down Under!
